How to Participate in a Regulatory Hearing

At a regulatory hearing, interested parties may submit comments regarding any proposed regulation(s) at any time during the noticed comment period. However, comments must be received no later than the date and time indicated on the regulation notice. Late comments will not be considered.

Interested parties may present written or oral comments at a hearing. Dates, times and locations of hearings are indicated in the regulation notices. Hearings are usually included as an agenda item at a Board Meeting (see Board Calendar for meeting dates).

Written comments may be submitted by mail, facsimile, or email to the address indicated below. All comments must be received no later than the date and time indicated in the notice, or must be received by the Board for Geologists and Geophysicists at the hearing.
